Ever wonder what it would be like to serve on the board of a non-profit?
The Junior League of Charlotte, Inc. is offering a new program for both JLC members and members of the Charlotte community to find out what it takes to serve on a board.
Applications for the Get On Board Program 2012-2013 are available online and must be submitted by November 15. You have to mail in the application – so don’t wait too long to apply!
All interested applicants must be willing to commit to attending all training sessions in addition to their JLC placement requirements.
The program schedule consists of a kickoff celebration, five training sessions and a Get On Board celebration.
