A big thanks to our Social Committee and Danielle Rose for putting together our Third Thursday Socials each month.
For those of you who have not been to a social yet, here is a little more information to give you an idea of the events:
Socials are for Junior League members and guests. The socials offer a great opportunity for members to network but also for members to introduce non-members to the JLC and give them a sneak peek into what we’re all about.
Typically, the events end up being only women, unless it’s a special event like the holiday party. The Social Committee provides name tags to help promote networking and conversations without awkward introductions. In general, 15-30 guests attend each social, depending on the type of event and location. The committee tries to plan the events at locations in different neighborhoods throughout Charlotte to make it convenient for everyone to come to at least one social. The atmosphere is very laid back and it’s come and go as you please. More the merrier, always!
Next Social Date and Time: Thursday, February 21 at 7 p.m.
Description: The February Third Thursday will be hosted by BlackFinn in the Epicentre. The restaurant will be providing appetizers and a private space for our enjoyment. There may even be a specialty cocktail! Parking is available in the Epicentre garage off of 4th Street or East Trade Street. See you there!
