JLC Public Policy Institute Accepting Applications

Are you interested in local and state politics, but not exactly sure how things work?  Are you passionate about a concern facing our community, but not sure what to do about it?  Do you want to learn how to advocate effectively for your community?  Do you want to brush up on your leadership skills?  Consider signing up for the Junior League of Charlotte’s Public Policy Institute.  PPI is currently accepting applications for its second class.  Applications can be found on the JLC website and are due Oct. 31.  A fee is required for this six-week course starting in January 2013.  For more information, please visit http://www.jlcharlotte.org/?nd=g_survey_7.
