A Night of Learning at Discovery Place
Each year, provisional members of the JLC are asked to attend at least two Knowledge Nights. These events are put together by Membership Development Committee (MDC) and provisional members with a glimpse into different placement opportunities.
Wen Norvell is the training coordinator for the Membership Development committee and spokewith us about the recent Discovery Place Knowledge night.
“We had a fantastic time. Steven, from Discovery Place did an excellent job. It was fun, interactive, and certainly informative. Samantha did a thorough job of explaining the placement and requirements. We also got a tour of the facility, which turned most of us into children. Even I was straggling looking at interesting exhibits. Really fun event!”
This is just one of many Knowledge Nights planned throughout the fall for the Fall 2013 Provisionals.
