December Rockstars

The Junior League of Charlotte is comprised of 1500+ hardworking and enthusiastic members. The following members were recognized during the month of December for going above and beyond and living the mission of the JLC. Congratulations to all on a job very well done.

Chemere Davis (The Crier) has been instrumental in the first two publications of The Crier this year. Her work ethic and dedication to the success of this committee is much appreciated.

Sharon Slider (Done in a Day) is a former chair of this committee, yet continues to be engaged and lead within the group.

Terri Daughenbaugh (Membership Advisory) attended the last SPAC meeting and was recognized by that committee for making a huge effort to understand the committee and offer her full support!

Mary Sherrill Ware (ETA Council Manager) continues to be a great leader and has been recognized by the JLC Mentor Program committee for her consistent and incredible help throughout the year.

Hewit Hawn (Fall Fundraiser) has done a phenomenal job as Vice Chair and the committee Chair, Emilie Duncan-Heffernan, expressed her gratitude for the chance to work alongside Hewit this year.

Jacquie Baker and Kathryn Daniel (WearHouse) did a great job helping to merchandise the store windows in preparation for the holiday season.

Cristina Weber (Planned Giving) has been recognized by her committee for working to promote the JLC to her employer for potential support and sponsorship. She is committed to ensuring that our upcoming “A Woman’s Worth” event is impactful to our members and will improve the futures of all in attendance. Great work, Cristina!

Kari Kessell and Lauren Dayton (Spring Fundraiser) have been both been hard at work preparing for March Money Madness.

Caroline Mitchell (Social) planned the November Third Thursday Social and went above and beyond, meeting all deadlines on time and following up on outstanding items without being asked. He committee is very thankful to be working with her this year.

Charlitta Hatch and Caitlin Helgeson (HRC Council) are a dynamic duo in the Junior League! Their entire council cannot say enough about the two of them and how they continue to exemplify the JLC mission. The HRC Council is strong and successful because of these wonderful women at the helm.

Ashley Snider (MDC) organized a Friendsgiving event for her small group and extended the invitation to all other small groups in MDC.
