The WearHouse hosted its Fall Open House event on Tuesday, August 12 from 6-8pm, and it proved to be a huge success for the JLC, Reid Park Academy, and our shoppers! Guests enjoyed 20% off all thrift merchandise, an additional 10% discount in exchange for donated school supplies, and JLC members earned one membership credit for attending.
During the event, guests were able to socialize, eat and drink while getting open styling sessions with Rubies on Vanilla fashion blogger and JLC member Danielle Rose. JLC President Beverley Shull gave an update on the JLC’s relationship with Reid Park Academy, followed by Danielle, who pulled looks from the floor, many of which were purchased later in the evening! The event closed with a raffle featuring lots of great prizes and winners.
A huge Thank You to everyone who brought school supplies and who joined us for an evening of shopping. We collected a lot of donations for Reid Park Academy, which helps tremendously with school starting this month. And WearHouse sales during the event totaled more than $1800! The JLC will take this money and put it right back into our community. As you can see, the event was a huge success that many will benefit from.
If you haven’t been to the WearHouse since we’ve switched over to fall merchandise, you really should check it out! You can find everything you need for work, weddings, and of course all of those football games (see the photos of displays here, need we say more?). Be sure to check out the latest arrivals by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. #JLCBlog
