1) What is the best and worst decision you’ve ever made?
Best – One of my best decisions was accepting my first job out college in Charlotte
Worst- One of my worst was selling a property
2) What woman inspires you and why?
I’m always inspired by women in the Junior League. I had a chance to meet women in four countries when I was AJLI president. Their commitment to their communities is really inspirational.
3) From start to finish, what would your ideal day be like?
A day with my family. They are very supportive and fun loving.
4) What keeps you up at night?
I’m worried about how fearful people are becoming about differences.
5) If you could tell your 23 year old self one thing what would it be?
Take the position with Peace Corp. Your career can wait.
6) One thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
Some people may know that I love to dance, but few people know I was in a folk dance troupe in college.
7) How has the Junior League helped you develop your potential, taught you something unique, and/or given you an opportunity that you never would have had otherwise?
The Junior League has exceptional training. I can’t begin to list all if the things I’ve learned. Most importantly, I’ve been able to use the training professionally and as a civic leader.
