Spring and Summer Sides Series 1: Party Cheese Ball
So if you’ve been a reader of these JLC cookbook recipes for a while, you’ve probably noticed I pick most of the recipes based on their title. The Party Cheese Ball is no exception.
Serve it to your guests with some crackers or pita chips and I’m sure it will help get the party started right!
Party Cheese Ball (contributed by Mrs. Donald A. Graham)
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3 to 5 ounces blue cheese
8 ounce package cream cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon chopped pimiento
DIRECTIONS:
Toast walnuts in 350 degree oven until golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Blend cheeses and add other ingredients.
Chill until firm and shape into a ball.
Roll in toasted nuts.
Chill until serving time.
