Why I Joined The Junior League of Charlotte
Being a Charlotte native, I grew up loving this city and the community. I went to Providence Day School all my life and made many lasting friendships. My mother was a JLC member and I grew up doing the faculty follies with her. She made so many lasting relationships through the JLC, and still, to this day, keeps in touch with those friends.
When I came back to Charlotte from college, I wanted to be a part of such great organization. I wanted to help the community that I was raised in and make a big impact on future generations. The only place that I wanted to do that was with the JLC organization.
Going through my provisional year, I was welcomed and met so many amazing women as well as some who I call today my dear friends. Like my mom, I too have made many lasting relationships being apart of the JLC, and have grown as a person.
